The American Staffordshire Terrier is a muscular, compact dog known for his size and strength. Often referred to by its nickname, AmStaff, it’s one of many breeds that are considered pit bulls. American Staffordshire Terriers love being around people and are loyal to their owner and families. Despite having “Staffordshire” in its name, its origins actually trace back to Birmingham.
