Beauceron

The Beauceron is a large but graceful dog that comes from the Beauce region of Northern France. It is also known as the Berger de Beauce or sheepdog from Beauce. With its characteristic red markings on a black coat, including red stockings, the Beauceron is credited as being a breed used when created the Doberman Pinscher dog. Beaucerons are intelligent and highly trainable. While they have a gentle demeanor, they are known to make great guard dogs.
