The Croatian Sheepdog is a black coated dog with origins in Croatia dating back to the 14th century where they were used as herding and guard dogs. They are an energetic dog breed and require a lot of daily exercise. They are intelligent, independent, and like to work. They also have a tendency to bark making them excellent watchdogs.
