The Harrier is a breed of dog from the hound class that was originally developed to hunt fox and hares. Its name, Harrier, gives hint to what the dog does best, which is to hunt “hares”. The Harrier is smaller than the English Foxhound but larger than the Beagle. As pets, Harriers are friendly and sweet. They get along well with children and other dogs, but care should be taken around other animals.
