The Norfolk Terrier is a small terrier breed of dog likely developed by crossing Irish Terriers, Cairn Terrier and Border Terriers. They were originally bred as farm dogs and vermin hunters near the towns of Norfolk and Norwich in England. They have a double coat: a wire topcoat and a soft undercoat. Norfolk Terriers are alert and fearless. As pets, they have a soft temperament and love being around people and kids. They were bred to work in hunting packs, so generally they along well with other dogs and pets.
